Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 731.231, there is hereby adopted by and for the City of Trenton, the International Residential Code for One- and Two-Family Dwellings (IRC), being particularly the 2003 edition thereof, save and except such portions thereof as may be hereinafter amended or deleted by the International Code Council or usurped by other ordinances of City Council. Where other sections of the Ohio Board of Building Standards (OBBS) or the Codified Ordinances of Trenton, Ohio, are stricter in the determination of the Building Inspector, those sections shall prevail over the IRC.
