(a) Every smoke pipe shall connect with a smoke flue.
(b) No smoke pipe shall pass through any floor or ceiling.
(c) Smoke pipes shall not pass through any combustible partition unless they are guarded at the point of passage with metal ventilated thimbles.
(d) The clearance between combustible ceilings and smoke pipes shall be at least twenty-four inches.
