The following information shall be contained on the final plat:
(a) Plat size. The final plat shall be clear and legible and shall be prepared using computer-aided design (CAD) or computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software or methods. The size of the plat shall be less than 18 by 24 inches.
(b) Drawing Standards. When submitting the final plat, the following standards are to be met per the County Engineer's office, plat room:
(1) Plat size:

Letter size | Minimum 1/8-inch |
Letter spacing | Minimum 1/16-inch or half of the letter size used |
(2) Line spacing: The minimum space between lines of text shall be the same as the letter size.
(3) Border: All plats shall have 1/2-half inch border.
(4) Material: Permanent black ink on mylar.
(5) Plat condition:
A. No numbers or letters shall be drawn in shaded areas or over any other lines on the plat.
B. Signatures shall be in permanent black ink from a felt-tip pen.
C. Seals shall be electronic, shaded or in permanent ink.
D. Folded, wrinkled or torn plats are not acceptable.
(6) Letter quality: If the plat drawing is difficult to read due to the labeling and dimensioning of easements and property lines, then all property lines and associated labeling is to be shown on the one drawing and all easements and associated labeling is to be shown on another separate drawing of the plat.
(7) Electronic data transfer: Electronic submittal is required to expedite the review and recording process.
