(a) The charges for residential collection and recycling shall be as follows:
(1) Effective 7-1-17 to 6-30-18 per unit, per month | $23.36 |
(2) Effective 7-1-18 to 6-30-19 per unit, per month | $23.36 |
(3) Effective 7-1-19 to 6-30-20 per unit, per month | $23.36 |

A residential unit shall consist of one or more persons living together as a family unit. Each apartment with cooking facilities shall be considered as a separate residential unit. The Service Director may require certain multifamily dwellings to utilize commercial containers at his or her discretion.

(b) A residential user who is sixty-five years of age or older, or permanently and totally disabled, and who qualifies for a sixty percent or greater reduction of taxable value under Ohio R.C. 323.152, shall be entitled to a reduction of one dollar ($1.00) from the charge for residential collection after the Treasurer has approved the user’s application for such a reduction. Each user applying for such a reduction shall renew his or her application annually with the Treasurer.
