672.14 POINTING AND DISCHARGING FIREARMS AND OTHER WEAPONS.
   (a)   No person shall, intentionally and without malice, point or aim a firearm at or toward another person.
   (b)   No person shall discharge any air gun, rifle, shotgun, revolver, pistol or other firearm, or make use of any sling or arrow, within the corporate limits of the Municipality.
   (c)   Exceptions:
      (1)   Divisions (a) and (b) of this section do not apply to cases in which firearms, slings or arrows are used in self-defense, in the discharge of official duty or in justifiable homicide.
      (2)   Division (b) of this section does not apply to cases in which BB guns and other air guns, or slings or arrows, are used in the confines of dwellings, provided such use is under adult supervision.
      (3)   Division (b) of this section does not apply to any commercial indoor recreational permitted use that has been otherwise approved by the City regarding paint ball type guns intended and designed to be discharged at others for recreational purposes.
      (4)   Division (b) of this section does not apply to any commercial indoor recreational shooting range that has been otherwise approved by the City and operates in compliance with any and all applicable State or Federal laws.
   (d)   Whoever violates division (a) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. Whoever violates division (b) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
