There is hereby created, in accordance with R.C. § 146.02 a Volunteer Fire Fighters’ Dependents Board for the City, composed of two members elected by City Council, two members elected by the fire department or volunteer fire fighters, one member elected by the four previously mentioned appointees. A secretary, who is a member of the Board, shall be appointed by the Board and shall serve at its pleasure. The Board members shall serve without compensation. The term and board elections shall follow R.C. § 146.04.
