§ 113.17 LICENSE CLASSIFICATIONS; FEES.
   The following license classifications shall be subject to a fee, which shall be an amount to be determined by the Village Board. The following fee amounts are current as of December of 2018, and subject to change via resolution of the Village Board:

CLASS A: A Class A license shall authorize the sale at retail of all alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises described in the license and alcoholic liquor in original packages for consumption off the premises described in the license.

CLASS B: A Class B license shall authorize the sale by a convenience store, at retail, of alcoholic liquor in original packages for consumption off the premises described in the license. The sale at retail of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises described in the license is strictly prohibited. All package liquor to be sold under a Class B license must be stored in a segregated, locked and secure area not accessible to the public. A Class B license may be issued, at the sole discretion of the corporate authorities, as an additional license to a liquor license issued under a different classification.

CLASS C (CLUB): A Class C license shall authorize the sale at retail of alcoholic liquor by a club for consumption on the club premises described in the license. The sale at retail of alcoholic liquor for consumption off the premises described in the license is strictly prohibited.

CLASS D: A Class D license shall authorize the sale at retail of alcoholic liquor in original packages on the premises of a grocery store for consumption off the premises described in the license. The sale at retail of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises described in the license is strictly prohibited.

CLASS E: A Class E license shall authorize the sale at retail of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises of a restaurant described in the license. The sale at retail of alcoholic liquor for consumption off the premises described in the license is strictly prohibited.

CLASS F: A Class F license shall authorize the sale at retail of beer and wine only, for consumption on the premises of a restaurant. The sale at retail of alcoholic liquor other than beer and wine or the sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption off the premises described in the license is strictly prohibited.

CLASS G: A Class G license shall authorize the sale at retail of beer and wine only, in the original package, for consumption off the premises described in the license. The sale at retail of beer and wine for consumption on the premises described in the license is strictly prohibited.

CLASS H: A Class H license shall authorize the sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption upon public or private property for a special event, shall be granted upon such terms as the Liquor Commission may direct, and shall be granted only for the premises approved for the event. No license shall be issued for more than a total of four days in a 12-month period for a single special event. An additional fee to reflect expenses for security, safety and health may be assessed at the sole discretion of the Liquor Commission.

CLASS I: A Class I license shall authorize the sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the licensed premises, which shall consist of a golf course and the property adjoining the golf course used in conjunction with the golf course, including, but not limited to, driving range area, practice green and club house, including pro-shop and any area adjacent thereto, all of which make up the “golf course.”

CLASS J: A Class J license shall authorize the sale at retail of beer or wine for consumption only in a video gaming area as described in the license. Consumption will be limited to the immediate area of the video games. The gaming area will be segregated from the remainder of the facility and shall be designated as the video gaming area. Consumption of beer or wine by a customer will be limited to no more than two 16-ounce containers of beer or two 750 milliliter containers of wine or any combination thereof in any eight hour period. A Class J liquor license may be issued as an additional license to a liquor license issued under a different classification, but storage and consumption thereof must at all times be physically separate in an area that is designated “Video Gaming Only.”

   (B)   All license fees shall be paid to the Village Clerk at the time of application, and shall be forthwith turned over to the Village Treasurer. In the event the license applied for is denied, the fee shall be returned to the applicant. If the license is granted, then the fee shall be deposited in the General Corporate Fund by proper action.
   (C)   Applicants applying for or holding a Class A, E or F license may file a request with the Liquor Commission for the issuance of a license to operate a “beer garden,” as herein defined, to be constructed and operated upon such terms and conditions as may be approved or imposed by the Liquor Commission.
