(A) There is hereby adopted for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, the most current edition of that certain code known as the “Fire Prevention Code,” abbreviated edition, recommended by the American Insurance Association and any amendments thereto, which Code is on file in the office of the Village Clerk and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and the provisions thereof, shall be controlling within the limits of the village.
(B) However, in the event any of the provisions of the Fire Prevention Code are in conflict with state law, this code of ordinances or other ordinance of the village, then such state law, other provision of this code of ordinances or ordinance of the village shall prevail.
