§ 90.092 DUTIES OF PET SHOP OPERATOR.
   Every pet shop operator shall:
   (A)   Maintain proper sanitary conditions and ensure property ventilation;
   (B)   Provide adequate nutrition and humane care and treatment for all animals under his or her custody;
   (C)   Take reasonable care to release for sale, trade or adoption only those animals which are free from disease, injuries or abnormalities. A health certificate meeting the requirements of the state’s Health Department and issued by a licensed veterinarian for any such animal within five days before such sale, trade or adoption shall be prima facie evidence that the pet shop operator has taken reasonable care as required herein; and
   (D)   Comply with all applicable provisions of this code regulating health, sanitation and safety.
