§ 90.075 UNCLAIMED ANIMALS.
   Whenever a person has not redeemed an impounded animal, including the paying of all required costs, within the allotted period, such animal may be killed in a humane manner. However, when any reputable institution of medical or scientific research of learning shall apply in writing to the Village President for permission to use impounded and unclaimed animals for scientific purposes only, the President may surrender to such institution such unclaimed animals as are available.
