(A) Any person seeking to redeem any impounded animal shall pay a fee in an amount to be determined by the Village Board and an additional fee for each day after the first during which such animal has been impounded.
(B) In addition, such person must prove that the animal is properly licensed and inoculated or vaccinated against rabies as provided in this chapter. Absent such proof, no such animal shall be released from the shelter until the animal be properly licensed and vaccinated, and until all costs and expenses thereof be paid to the Village Clerk and the Animal Welfare Officer, respectively.
