The Board of Trustees shall appoint annually, at its first regularly scheduled meeting in May of each year, one of its members to act as President Pro Tem, who, during the absence of the Village President for a continuous period of seven days; or during any period of disability of the Village President; or at the express direction of the Village President; shall have full authority to perform all the duties pertaining to such office.
