It shall be the duty of the Superintendent of Sewers:
(A) To examine and approve plans and specifications for sewer construction work;
(B) To issue permits for such work upon the fulfillment by the applicant of the provisions of this chapter therefor;
(C) To collect fees as provided herein and to deliver all fees collected to the Treasurer within 15 days after the collection of any such fee or fees;
(D) To inspect sewers, including house sanitary connections and house storm drains, and the materials to be used therein;
(E) To conduct tests thereon;
(F) To issue certificates of approval;
(G) To keep records of actions taken, and examinations, inspections and tests made, and of permits and certificates issued;
(H) To make a monthly report of his or her acts and doings to the Board of Trustees; and
(I) To advise the public, when requested in the matter of these regulations relating to the Sewerage System.
