§ 70.06 DESIGNATING CROSSWALKS; ESTABLISHING SAFETY ZONES.
   The Town Street Superintendent is hereby authorized by duly adopted resolution to designate and maintain, by appropriate devices, marks or lines upon the surface of the roadway, crosswalks at intersections where, in the opinion of the Town Street Superintendent, there is particular danger to pedestrians crossing the roadway, and establish safety zones of such kind and character at such other places as the Town Street Superintendent may deem necessary for the protection of pedestrians. The Town Street Superintendent shall notify the Town Council of his or her actions as soon thereafter as practicable, and Town Council shall periodically, but not less often than annually, ratify his or her actions.
