In all cases where the town council or any other person under the authority shall sell or contract to sell to any persons any lot or part of lot in the town cemetery and the same remains unconveyed to the said purchaser, it shall be the duty of the town clerk to make and execute to the said purchaser a certificate of burial rights. The purchaser or his heirs shall furnish proper and satisfactory evidence showing that the lot or part of lot alleged to have been paid for by the purchaser. (Ord., 3-8-2012; amd. 2016 Code)
