§ 150.151 REPORT OF FINDINGS.
   After the investigation has been completed, the Mayor and/or Borough Manager and/or Secretary shall report the findings of their investigation and examination to the next regular or special meeting of the Borough Council requesting a hearing upon ten days’ notice to the property owner which notice shall set forth the results of the investigation by the Borough Secretary/Manager and Mayor. Thereafter a hearing shall be held by the Borough Council upon advertisement thereof and notice to the property owners. At the conclusion of the hearing before Council, the Borough Council shall determine by resolution whether the structure is a dangerous one in accordance with the definition as set forth in this subchapter, and/or as set forth in 8 Pa.C.S. § 1202(4) thereof. If the Borough Council determines by resolution that the structure is dangerous, the Borough Manager and/or Secretary shall forthwith cause written notice to be served upon the owner of such structure. Such notice shall require the owner of such structure to commence the repair or the removal of such structure within ten days of receipt of said notice to complete such repair or removal within 30 days; provided, however, that in any case where the notice prescribes the repair of any structure, the owner thereof shall have the option to remove such structure instead of making the repairs thereto, within the said time limit.
