There is hereby adopted by the Borough Council the International Plumbing Code, including Appendix and Chapters, 1997 Edition, as published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., and the International Conference of Building Officials, and any amendments thereto, together with any future revisions and supplements thereto made and the said Code is hereby adopted, referred to and made a part hereof as if fully set out in the subchapter, except as modified or amended specifically hereinafter in § 150.047; and from the date on which this subchapter shall take effect the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the borough; provided, however, that the regulations of the commonwealth for protection from fire and panic and all other pertinent regulations of the Department of Labor and Industry of the commonwealth shall take precedence where applicable and further provided that §§ 150.150 through 150.154 (Dangerous Structures) takes precedence where applicable.
