(A) Where a booster pump has been installed on the service connection to or within any premises, such pump shall be equipped with a low pressure cut-off device designed to shut off the booster pump when the pressure in the service connection on the suction side of the pump drops to ten pounds per square inch gauge or less for a period of 30 seconds or longer.
(B) It shall be the duty of the consumer to maintain the low pressure cut-off device in proper working order and to certify annually to the Water Department that the device is in such condition.
