§ 50.01 BILLING ACCOUNT PROCEDURE FOR WATER AND SEWER.
   (A)   Any party establishing an account with either the Water Utility or Sewer Utility of the town will establish that account in the name of the owner of the real estate.
   (B)   Any and all bills concerning the water and sewer accounts of the town will be sent to the owner of the real estate and, if said owner has leased said real estate or feels that another party should be responsible for same, it shall be the owner’s responsibility to collect same from that individual.
   (C)   Any account which currently is in the name of a tenant or non-owner of a property served by water or sewer shall be converted to an account of the landowner, who shall be so notified.
   (D)   In all other respects, ordinances that concern the collection of overdue and past due accounts involving either the Sewer or Water Departments are hereby reaffirmed as codified in the laws of the state.
