§ 32.01 PURCHASING AGENCY.
   (A)   The Clerk-Treasurer’s office (the “purchasing agency”) is established as the purchasing agency for the town.
   (B)   The purchasing agency shall have all the powers and duties authorized under I.C. 5-22, as may be supplemented from time to time by ordinances adopted by the Council and policies adopted by the purchasing agency.
   (C)   The purchasing agency shall act as the purchasing agency for every agency, board, office, branch, bureau, commission, council, department or other establishment of the town.
   (D)   The purchasing agency may designate in writing any employee of the town as a purchasing agent.
   (E)   (1)   The Department of the Town Clerk-Treasurer having been appointment purchasing agency for the town does hereby appoint the following purchasing agents:
         (a)   Town Clerk-Treasurer;
         (b)   Town Marshal;
         (c)   Town Street Superintendent;
         (d)   Town Sewer Superintendent; and
         (e)   Town Water/Utility Superintendent.
      (2)   The town’s Clerk-Treasurer, as head of the purchasing agency, reserves the right to amend or modify this list of purchasing agents as the need shall from time to time arise.
