§ 30.16 TOWN MARSHAL.
   (A)   There is hereby created, adopted and pursuant to the laws of the state retroactively put into place the office of the Town Marshal.
   (B)   The Town Marshal shall have all those duties as are defined by state statute for town marshals, and shall further be authorized to deputize individuals pursuant to the laws of the state.
   (C)   The Town Council does hereby further approve and create a Town Reserve, such Reserve officers answering to the Town Marshal.
   (D)   The budget of the Town Marshal shall be approved by the Town Council; all employment selections of the Town Marshal shall first be approved by the Town Council and the Town Marshal shall be appointed by and serve a the pleasure of the Town Council.
