§ 90.002 RABIES VACCINATION.
   (A)   No person shall own, keep or harbor within the city any dog or cat four months of age or older unless such animal has a current rabies vaccination. The animal must be re-vaccinated before the expiration of the first of each subsequent current vaccination period.
   (B)   The owner of a dog or a cat shall cause said dog or cat to wear, at all times, a secure collar or harness evidencing proof of current vaccination.
   (C)   If a citation for no proof of rabies vaccination is written against the owner, harborer, or person in control of an unvaccinated dog or cat, the person may have the citation dismissed by producing a current rabies certificate or other confirmation to the Court on or before the appearance date showing the animal has been properly vaccinated.
