(A) No individual sewage disposal system shall be installed within the corporate limits of the city and its planned growth area unless it shall conform to the requirements of the Arkansas Department of Health as established in Act 402 of 1977, being A.C. §§ 14-236-101 et seq., and a permit obtained from Washington County Health Unit.
(B) All such sewage systems installed within the corporate limits of the city and its planned growth area must be installed by a licensed septic system installer.
(C) The City Building Inspector shall be authorized to require any property owners in violation of this section to take the necessary action to correct the noncomplying individual sewage disposal systems within 30 working days of being notified; after which, each day's failure to take corrective action shall be punishable by a fine as set forth in § 155.01.
