Unless a penalty for the violation of this chapter has been otherwise specified herein, any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished for each offense by a fine of not less than twenty five dollars ($25.00), nor more than three hundred dollars ($300.00), or by imprisonment in the city jail for a term of not less than ten (10) days nor more than thirty (30) days or by both such fine and imprisonment.
