3-2-5: RESTRICTIONS; NUISANCE DECLARED:
It is unlawful for any person, firm or agent of any corporation to go in or upon any private residence, apartment, private business or premises in the city for the purpose of selling or soliciting from the occupants thereof, or canvassing for orders for publications, goods, wares and merchandise or services of any character or description, without first having obtained the consent of the occupants thereof and without a license in accordance with the terms of this chapter, and in no event shall any solicitations as regulated by this chapter occur after eight o'clock (8:00) P.M. Central Standard Time until eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. the next morning. Nor shall any such selling or soliciting be lawful in any instance where any such occupant has forbidden soliciting or canvassing or caused to be placed on his premises, in a conspicuous position near the entrance thereof, a sign bearing the words "No Trespassing", or "No Peddlers" or any similar notice indicating in any manner that the occupant of said premises does not desire to be disturbed, unless such occupant has specifically requested such solicitation or canvassing.
