3-1-5: CLASSIFICATION OF LICENSES; FEES:
There are hereby established the following license classifications and fees for the sale at retail of alcoholic liquors within the city:
   A.   Class A License: Class A license, which shall authorize the retail sale of alcoholic liquors to be consumed on the premises. In addition, a class A license shall allow a person to purchase packaged goods and remove said packaged goods from the premises with the seal unbroken. The annual fee for such license shall be five hundred dollars ($500.00).
   B.   Class A-1 License: Class A-1 license, commonly known as a "caterer retail license", which shall allow the holder of a Class A license and this license to serve alcoholic liquors as an incidental part of a food service that serves prepared meals which excludes the serving of snacks as the primary meal, either on or off site. The annual fee for such license shall be fifty dollars ($50.00).
   C.   Class B License: Class B license, which shall authorize the retail sale by not for profit organizations of alcoholic liquors to be consumed on the premises. The annual fee for such license shall be twenty five dollars ($25.00).
   D.   Class C License: Class C license, which shall entitle the licensee to sell beer and wine in the original package, seal not to be broken on the premises. A Class C license shall be a packaged goods license in which purchases made under the license may be removed from the premises with the seal unbroken. The annual fee for such license shall be four hundred dollars ($400.00).
   E.   Class D License: Class D license, which shall authorize the retail sale of beer and wine only by not for profit organizations, to be consumed only on the premises specified. This license shall be issued for a set number of days. The fee for such license shall be ten dollars ($10.00) per day, with a minimum fee of twenty five dollars ($25.00).
   F.   Class E License: Class E license, which shall entitle the licensee to make consumption sales of alcoholic liquor; provided, that this classification may only be issued to a club. A "club" is defined as a not for profit corporation organized under the laws of this State solely for the promotion of some common object (other than the sale or consumption of alcoholic liquors), and kept, used and maintained by its members through the payment of annual dues, and owning, hiring or leasing a building or space in a building of such use and accommodation of its members and their guests. The license shall also be subject to the terms of the applicable Statute of the State of Illinois 1 . The annual fee for such license shall be seventy five dollars ($75.00). (Ord., 4-2-2002)
