Section 6-8-2 above shall not apply:
A. To an emergency situation or vehicle breakdown; provided, however, that the oversize vehicle shall be moved within forty-eight (48) hours.
B. When the operator of the oversize vehicle is actively engaged in deliveries, lawn maintenance, construction or other trade activity upon property abutting the location at which the oversize vehicle is parked; provided, however, that the oversize vehicle shall not obstruct traffic flow on any right of way, any traffic control device or sight lines at any intersection;
C. In an area zoned B Commercial, I-1 Light Industrial or I-2 Heavy Industrial for a period of not more than sixty (60) minutes when the operator is on a meal or rest break; and
D. To all noncommercial and commercial pickup trucks with a manufacturer's rated load capacity not exceeding one (1) ton in weight. (Ord. 2020-9-2, 9-14-2020)
