§ 110.109 FINE AS OPPOSED TO SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION.
   (A)   The Commissioner may revoke or suspend any license issued by her or him if she or he determines that the licensee has violated any of the provisions of the state’s Liquor Act, being 235 ILCS 5/1-1 et seq., the village’s ordinances, any applicable rule or regulation established by the Liquor Commissioner or the state’s Commission which is not inconsistent with law.
   (B)   In addition to or lieu of the suspension, as determined by the Commissioner, may levy a fine against the licensee for any such violations based on the following chart of fines.
 
Selling to a Minor
First offense in a one-year period

Second offense in a one-year period
$1,000 + automatic day of suspension
Third offense in a one-year period
$1,500 + automatic three-day suspension
 
Purchase and Resell of Unauthorized Alcohol
First offense in a one-year period

Second offense in a one-year period

Selling Alcohol Outside Permitted Hours

Allowing Open Containers to Leave the Premises

   (C)   Each day on which a violation continues shall constitute a separate violation. Not more than $15,000 in fines under this section may be imposed against any licensee during the period of his or her license. Proceeds from such fines shall be paid into the general corporate fund of the village treasury.
