(A) The function and purpose of the Fun Day Committee shall be to organize an annual event called Tolono Fun Day, intended to entertain local citizens and to attract non-residents to visit the community.
(B) The Committee shall propose a budget in advance of Fun Days and submit it for approval by the Board of Trustees. Upon its approval, the Committee shall have the authority to make such expenditures and enter into such contracts as are contemplated under the approved budget. The Committee and its members shall not have the authority to exceed the approved budget or enter into contracts not contemplated by the approved contract without approval of the Board of Trustees.
