Any vacations of any streets or alleys located within the corporate limits of the village given and granted by the President and Board of Trustees prior to the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter, and not theretofore recorded for record in the office of the County Recorder of Deeds, are repealed, the purpose being that any streets or alleys so vacated by the President and Board of Trustees and not recorded be null and void.
