(A) Purpose. The purpose of this subchapter is to establish procedures for amending this chapter, its regulations and standards, restrictions and district boundaries, and for conducting hearings regarding such amendments and other zoning action. The procedures are intended to provide adequate notice of pending zoning action, to provide a fair and impartial hearing, and to establish an environment for sound and rational decisions.
(B) Chapter amendments. The regulations imposed and the districts created by this chapter may be amended in accordance with the procedures contained within this subchapter.
