All village employees can expect fair and impartial treatment from supervisors or employees with oversight authority. As such, no full-time employee shall hold a position in which he or she supervises, checks, or audits the work of another employee within the employee’s immediate family (as defined in § 35.136) or with whom the employee has had, or is having, a dating relationship. If any such relationship exists or arises, the village will either transfer one of the employees to a vacant position for which the employee is qualified, or will terminate the employment of one of the employees.
