Upon notification to serve on jury or witness duty, an employee shall submit a copy of the summons to her or his supervisor. Jury duty will be treated as an authorized absence from work and the employee will continue to receive her or his regular base wage while performing jury services. An employee who is subpoenaed or otherwise required to appear for issues directly related to their employment by the village will also receive all regular pay and benefits, whether she or he is on duty or off duty. Jury duty checks shall be turned over to the village.
