§ 35.129  OVERTIME COMPENSATION.
   (A)   From time to time, it may be necessary for an employee to perform overtime work. When possible, the President must approve all overtime in advance. Except in the event of an emergency, the village will attempt to provide you with advance notice of the necessity for overtime work. Police Department employees should refer to their collective bargaining unit agreement to determine their overtime policies.
   (B)   Most non-exempt employees are entitled to be paid one and one-half times their regular rate of pay for all time worked in excess of 40 hours per week. Sick days, holidays, vacation time, leaves of absences, and other time off benefits are not counted as time worked for purposes of overtime.
