No person, firm or corporation shall use or permit to be used by any person in his, their or its employ, any computing scale unless the same shall have been tested and sealed or marked, as herein required, and no person, firm or corporation, with intent to use the same when weighing or measuring as aforesaid, shall alter or permit to be altered, or knowingly use or permit to be used after the same shall have been altered, any such computing scale, after the same shall have been tested and marked or sealed as aforesaid.
