515.03. Abortion without informed consent; trafficking.
   (a)   As used in this section, "abortion" means the purposeful termination of a human pregnancy by any person, including the pregnant woman herself with an intention other than to produce a live birth or to remove a dead fetus or embryo. Abortion is the practice of medicine or surgery for the purposes of Ohio R.C. 4731.41.

   (b)   No person shall perform or induce an abortion without the informed consent of the pregnant woman.
   (c)   If the pregnant woman is an unmarried minor, the pregnant woman's consent must be accompanied by the informed consent of one of her parents or of her custodian or guardian.
   (d)   Whoever violates subsection (b) hereof is guilty of consensual abortion, a misdemeanor of the first degree for the first offense; and is liable to the pregnant woman for civil compensatory and exemplary damages.

   (e)   No person shall experiment upon or sell the product of human conception which is aborted. Experiment does not include autopsies pursuant to Ohio R.C. 313.13 and 2108.50.
   (f)   Whoever violates subsection (e) hereof is guilty of abortion trafficking, a misdemeanor of the first degree.
