373.12. Riding on sidewalks.
   (a)   No person shall ride a bicycle upon a sidewalk within a business district or the Central Business District.
   (b)   No person shall ride a motorized bicycle upon any sidewalk within the City.
   (c)   No person fifteen or more years of age shall ride a bicycle upon any sidewalk running parallel to any public street with a speed limit of under 35 miles per hour.
   (d)   Whenever any person is riding a bicycle upon a sidewalk, such person shall yield the right of way to any pedestrian and shall give audible signal before overtaking and passing such pedestrian.
   (e)   The provisions of this section shall not apply to properly trained City Police Division personnel while in the performance of their duties.
