The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to enter into contracts with the surrounding townships, villages or cities, which contract shall provide for the mutual exchange of fire fighting personnel and equipment to be available on call in the event of enemy action, sabotage or such other local emergency as the Mayor shall deem advisable. Any contract or contracts entered into pursuant to this section shall contain such terms and conditions as to the Mayor shall seem advisable. The Mayor is hereby authorized to provide, by rule or order, for the execution of such contracts, which shall be approved by Council.
