183.04. Duties of the Commission.
   The Commission shall advise on the operation and preservation of city-owned municipal golf courses and will serve in an advisory capacity to the Mayor, City Council and the Commissioner of the Division of Parks, Recreation & Community Enrichment. The Commission shall render periodic reports and recommendations to the Mayor, City Council and the Commissioner of the Division of Parks, Recreation & Community Enrichment. The Commission shall, when requested by Council, consider, investigate, make findings, report and recommend upon any special matter or questions coming within the scope of this work by:
   (a)   Conducting annual golf course condition audits or assessments;
   (b)   Reviewing contracts with golf course operators;
   (c)   Working with community stakeholders to improve engagement of young people;
   (d)   Offering insight into marketing and communications at our city-owned municipal golf courses;
   (e)   Assisting in the development of a history of Ottawa Park project; and
   (f)   Assisting in the creation of the "Toledo Municipal Golf Hall of Fame."
