(a) For carrying into effect the provisions of this Part Thirteen - Building Code, the Chief Building Official shall enforce the most current, adopted editions of the Ohio Building Code, the Residential Code of Ohio, and the associated mechanical and electrical and fire codes adopted by the State of Ohio Board of Building Standards.
(b) The Chief Building Official shall be authorized to request reports, calculations and other design, construction and installation information necessary to insure compliance with the provisions of this Part Thirteen. Such information shall be supplied by the owner or lessee or their agent, the architect, engineer, builder, equipment supplier or other appropriate party.
