202.03 Changes In Fire Protection System
   A.   No changes, alterations or extensions of any fire protection system shall be made without first securing approval from the Division of Engineering Services, the political subdivision that owns the distribution system, and the Department of Fire & Rescue or governing fire authority. Application for same shall be made in writing prior to starting work.
   B.   Six (6) detailed sets of plans and specifications on all underground fire protection systems shall be furnished to and approved by the Division of Engineering Services. Within the City corporate limits, plans must also be approved by the Department of Fire & Rescue before service will be granted. Outside the City corporate limits, plans must also be approved by the political subdivision that owns the distribution system and the governing fire authority, unless otherwise indicated by the Director. Payment of the plans review and inspection fee shall be required prior to plan approval, in accordance with these Rules and Regulations. When requested, plans and specifications shall be furnished for fire protection systems that are now in use within thirty (30) days after notice to do so. The plans shall include the profile and a bill of materials, if so required.
   C.   Fire protection systems shall be constructed of materials as specified in these Rules and Regulations.
