773.01. Permit required.

No public vehicle shall be operated in the City of Toledo, except those meeting one of the exemptions defined in Toledo Municipal Code Chapter 769, unless a permit as either a taxicab or a motor vehicle for hire/limousine has been issued for such vehicle and is in force.
