(a) Council hereby voluntarily elects under the provisions of Ohio R.C. Chapter 4141 to extend unemployment compensation benefit protection to all of the employees of the City who are in the classified service of the City.

(b) Council hereby authorizes the Director of Finance upon receipt of a proper billing to remit to the Bureau of Employment Services of the State such sums as are necessary to provide the benefit authorized herein.
