The purchase program shall make these items available to the employee at sixty (60%) percent of the cost of the item to the City with the remaining forty (40%) percent to be paid by the employee. However, when the City requires the use of safety shoes or special soled shoes, one hundred percent (100%) of the cost shall be borne by the City.
