(a) "Hazardous waste transfer facility" means any facility whose primary purpose is the loading, unloading, pumping or packaging of hazardous waste but does not include any facility that is required to obtain a hazardous waste facility installation and operation permit under Chapter 3734 of the Revised Code and rules adopted under that chapter.
(b) "Infectious waste treatment facility" means an infectious waste treatment facility for which a license is required under Section 3734(B) of the Revised Code and also includes a solid waste incineration facility for which the license issued under Section 3734.05(A)(1) includes the notation authorizing the treatment of infectious waste made pursuant to division (B)(3) of that section.
(c) "Petroleum contaminants" do not include any contaminant that is regulated as a hazardous waste under Chapter 3734 of the Revised Code and rules adopted under that chapter.
(d) "Soil remediation facility" means a facility that treats soil containing petroleum contaminants with heat to remove the contaminants.
(e) "Waste material" includes hazardous waste, infectious waste, material which contains hazardous waste or infectious waste or is derived from hazardous waste or infectious waste, or any other substance which poses a potential hazard to human health or safety or to the environment when improperly managed, but does not include solid waste, household waste, any mixture of domestic sewage and other waste that passes through a sewer system to a publicly owned treatment works, and wastewater treatment plant or water treatment plant sludges.
(f) "Waste material facility" means any hazardous waste transfer facility, soil remediation facility, or any other facility whose primary purpose is the treatment, storage, transfer, or disposal of waste material, but which is not subject to the hazardous waste facility installation and operation permit, byproduct disposal facility permit, or infectious waste treatment facility license required under Revised Code Chapter 3734.
