(a) All solid fuel, liquid fuel and gas heaters and space heaters shall be properly vented to a chimney or approved duct or vent leading to outdoor space.
(b) The chimney shall be free of obstructions so as not to reduce or block the positive draft created. The top of the flue shall terminate in accordance with appropriate Building Code regulations.
(c) Every smoke pipe and every chimney shall be adequately supported, reasonably clean and maintained in such condition that there will be no leakage or backing up of noxious gases.
(d) Flues shall be the same size as the vent collars on the units. When two or more flue pipes join together, an increase in size of the receiving pipe is necessary.
(e) Flue "thimbles" shall be used through partitions, walls, and ceilings.
(f) Corroded pipes shall be replaced and secure.
