(a) No building or structure shall hereafter be constructed, altered, repaired or removed, nor shall the equipment of a building, structure or premises be constructed, installed, altered, repaired or removed, except in compliance with the provisions of this Part Thirteen Building Code. Any additions or repairs to the structural portion of an existing building or other structure shall be made in compliance with the requirements for new buildings and other new structures as adopted in this Part Thirteen– Building Code.
(b) No building or structure shall be altered in any manner that would be in violation of the provisions of this Part Thirteen-Building Code or of any authorized rule or approval made and issued thereunder.
(c) Nothing in this Part Thirteen shall prohibit the raising or lowering of a building to meet a change of grade in the street on which it is located, provided that the building is not otherwise altered.
(d) No parking area or lot shall be constructed or altered except in compliance with the provisions of Part Eleven Planning and Zoning Code and Chapter 1305 of this Code.
(e) Requirements for placing State-approved industrialized units. The permanent foundation shall be complete, inspected, approved and ready to accept placement of the State-approved industrialized unit. No State-approved industrialized unit shall be placed on a residential home site more than 72 hours before its placement on the foundation.
