The following schedule of fees and rules and regulations for the use of City-owned solid waste disposal facilities shall be applicable to the Hoffman Road Landfill. The schedule of fees shall be posted at the entrance of the solid waste disposal facility.

LANDFILL FEES, RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Schedule of fees:
$16.00 per cubic yard (minimum charge one [1] cubic yard).
$10.00 per each item of white goods (no freon-containing appliances accepted).
$3.00 per each automobile tire.
$10.00 per each truck tire.
$30.00 per each large truck or tractor tire.
Fee Payment:
All fees shall be paid in cash only prior to entry into landfill.
All vehicle or container capacities shall be as determined by City of Toledo landfill personnel. Fees shall be based on vehicle or container capacity in cubic yards.
2. Only solid waste generated from within the City of Toledo or Lucas County will be accepted (proof of residency or waste source will be required).
3. The following wastes are prohibited by environmental regulation to be disposed of at Hoffman Road Landfill:
Asbestos
liquid wastes
hazardous wastes
industrial or chemical waste
steel drums of any size empty or full
yard waste
lead acid batteries
propane tanks
4. Major vehicle components, or junked vehicles will not be accepted.
5. No smoking is permitted on landfill premises.
6. Salvaging of disposed material is prohibited.
7. City reserves the right to move any disabled vehicle interfering with landfill operations at owner's expense with no liability to the City.
8. The City reserves the right to refuse any material which will jeopardize the safe and proper operation of the landfill.
DISPOSAL HOURS:
Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Closed Saturdays and Sundays and all major holidays.
The Division of Solid Waste shall be authorized to pay the $0.30 per cubic yard state fee on the disposal of construction and demolition debris at the Hoffman Road Landfill to the Lucas County District Board of Health.
The City of Toledo appropriates $0.04 per cubic yard or $0.08 per ton from the state fee for the disposal of all construction and demolition debris within Toledo's borders in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 3714.07(C).
