The Toledo Market shall operate one season, beginning April 1 and running through December 31. The Toledo Market will be closed during the period January 1 through March 31.
The Toledo Market shall be open every day Mondays through Saturdays between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The seasonal rental fee for corner stalls shall be two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per corner stall; center stalls shall be two hundred twenty five dollars ($225.00) per stall. Newly constructed stalls shall be two hundred seventy five dollars ($275.00) per stall; Poultry Room shall be seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750.00). There shall be two classes of seasonal stall renters: members and associate members. The members are those who are renting assigned stalls on a seasonal basis. Associate members are those who are renting available stalls on a seasonal basis. The cost per stall per season is as identified above, both for the member and the associate member. The daily rental fee for all stalls not occupied by a member or an associate member by 8:00 a.m. shall be thirty dollars ($30.00) per day on Saturdays and twenty dollars ($20.00) per day weekdays (Monday through Friday). Sunday rental fees shall be fifteen dollars ($15.00) per Sunday or fifty-five dollars ($55.00) per month for monthly Sunday rentals.
In addition to the charges made above, a one-time permit fee charge shall be made by the Toledo Market of twenty-five dollars ($25.00). One permit shall need to be purchased during the lifetime of the stall renter; an annual payment of ten dollars ($10.00) per stall by the member and associate for trash pickup; an annual payment of ten dollars ($10.00) per stall by the member and associate for advertising.
The Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry is hereby authorized and directed to make such rules as he may deem necessary and advisable, regulating the manner, use and occupancy of the stalls in the Toledo Market. The Director shall cause all rules promulgated by him to be printed and shall furnish a copy thereof to each renter of a market stall. Copies of such rules shall also be available upon request of interested parties. Such other buildings or areas which may become available and be considered as part of the Market shall be rented at such rates as shall be determined to be proper by the Director after obtaining approval of the City Manager.
