(A) There is hereby created in the office of the Auditor of Tippecanoe County a separate fund to be known as the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Donation Fund.
(B) All monies received from gifts and donations to the County Sheriff's office shall be deposited into such Fund.
(C) Monies may be expended from such Fund by the office of the County Sheriff, subject to appropriation by the County Council, only for the purpose of acquisition of property and equipment for use of that office and to provide additional funding for the provision of law enforcement services by the Sheriff's office.
(D) Interest on such Fund shall be deposited to the county general fund.
